Elmbrook Memorial Hospital is an acute care hospital licensed for 166 beds, which has been serving the community since 1969. Located in Brookfield, Wisconsin, Elmbrook has a medical staff of 800 and employs over 800 individuals.
The Hospital's specialties include: ambulatory care (day surgery); breast diagnostic service; cancer care; cardiac rehabilitation; a Level II, 24-hour emergency department; gastroenterology; internal medicine; magnetic resonance imaging; nuclear medicine; orthopedic/neurological surgical services; physical rehabilitation; urology; and women's health services, including complete obstetric and gynecological services, education, counseling and preventative care. Emergency facilities are staffed with board certified emergency physicians who are trained and accredited in all aspects of emergency medicine, including cardiac care, trauma, general medical care and pediatrics. The emergency department is equipped with a specialized triage room and 14 exam rooms.
The Pavlic Women's Health Center, established in 1998, offers state-of-the-art diagnostic tools and the most current clinical technology available in the area. With a direct tie to Elmbrook Memorial's full range of services, the Center offers a sophisticated and multidisciplinary approach to patient care. Franciscan Woods, a transitional subacute care facility, is located on the Elmbrook campus. |
