The St. Michael Hospital Community Foundation exists to support St. Michael Hospital in its mission and ministry programs, especially to the disadvantaged. The Foundation accomplishes this by soliciting financial support for the hospital and acting as custodian and disburser of donated assets. St. Michael Hospital is a member of the Covenant Healthcare System and is sponsored by the Wheaton Franciscan Sisters. Wheaton Franciscan Services, Inc., headquartered in Wheaton, Illinois, is the parent corporation for more than 50 healthcare, housing and human services providers in Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, Colorado and Missouri. Covenant Healthcare, sponsored by the Wheaton Franciscan and Felician Sisters, is an integrated regional healthcare delivery system of interdependent providers, services and sites serving southeastern Wisconsin. Covenant distinguishes itself from many traditional healthcare providers in that it is driven by its unique mission. Covenant and its organizations live out the healing ministry of Jesus by valuing and developing individuals and relationships while providing while providing health services to meet community needs.
